The apartment had a spectacular view of the surrounding area and the castle, making it a great location for sightseeing. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough space for our family of seven.
The apartment seemed a bit neglected and could use some attention to detail, such as tidying up the external areas and adding railings to the patio for safety.

We loved the view of the citadel from the back porch and the stunning views over Carcassonne and the old city. the location was close to the railway station but in a very quiet area. the gite had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the host was very welcoming. the bakery near the gite was amazing and had everything we needed.
Felt safe and secure, no reason to complain.

The location of the B&B was perfect for us, as it was close to the railway station but tucked away in a quiet area. The views from the property were absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking panorama of the city and the old town. the B&B had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a lovely gite that had a quaint, rustic, and homely feel. We were also delighted to find that there was a fantastic boulangerie and charcuterie just a couple of minutes away, providing us with all the necessities.
While the overall experience at the B&B was positive, there were a few downsides. the apartment could have been much more appealing with a little bit of tender loving care.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with a quaint and traditional French feel. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be very convenient, with easy access to the main areas of the hotel and no major obstacles to navigate.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in terms of catering to the needs of senior guests. It would have been helpful if there were more grab bars or handrails in the hotel, especially in areas with steep steps or slopes.
